OK Go's New Music Video Will Never Let You Down

When it comes to totally unique, visually arresting music videos, OK Go won't let you down. Their latest triumph -- for the song "I Won't Let You Down,"and this time around, bandmates Damian Kulash, Tim Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Ross had something bigger in mind. Much bigger.

Though the video starts with just the four of them dancing and zipping around on seated Segways, it quickly grows to include a troupe of about 30 synchronized dancers with colored umbrellas -- and then thousands upon thousands of synchronized dancers with colored umbrellas.

Near the end of the song, the camera flies up by remote-controlled drone to offer a bird's eye view of the display. Seen from above, it becomes something like a larger-than-life Lite-Brite, with the open umbrellas acting as neon pegs and forming pictures and words with each beat.

The video -- unveiled Monday, Oct. 27, on the Today show -- was shot by film director Morihiro Harano, according to Billboard. And it took "approximately 50 to 60 tries to get it right."

P!nk and City and Colour Collaborate as You+Me

You+Me is the project of Alecia Moore (P!nk) and Dallas Green (City and Colour), two of the most notable voices in music today. While such prominent voices rarely mix too seamlessly, Green and Moore were destined to harmonize together in an country-folk indie project.

"It doesn't sound like you featuring me, or me featuring you," Green said in the group's explainer video. "It sounds like us." Gearing up to release their debut album, "rose ave.," on Oct. 14, HuffPost Entertainment is pleased to premiere the group's second single, "Break the Cycle."

Keeping in line with the acoustically driven tone of their first track, "You and Me," strings float in and out as Moore and Green sit an octave apart atop sparse strums during the verses. In the chorus, the duo harmonizes with a more upbeat feel, matched in lyrics like, "Let me heal the wounds you've held onto for all these years / Break the cycle, break the chains / Love is louder than all your pain."

Meet the NYC Indie Trio Jukebox The Ghost

Jukebox the Ghost

Indie rock band from NYC trio Jukebox the Ghost shows off upbeat, soulful piano-rock tunes, dynamic lyrical sound and the trilling signature falsetto of Ben (Vocals and Piano) is going to be our eargasm. They are known for hyperactive stage energy and covers of any song with a hook. Over the years they’ve funnelled this energy into thoughtful pop.

Jukebox the Ghost Members:

·         Ben Thornewill – Vocals and Piano
·         Tommy Siegel – Guitar
·         Jesse Kristin – Drums

Earlier this summer, they released their latest single, “The Great Unknown” (which is one of my favourite indie song) from their fourth record which will be released on October 21st.

Safe Travels

SafeTravels is their new album, according to Tommy Siegel, “It felt like the music was finally growing with us — Songs that relate to who we are as people right now, not who we were when we were 19 or 20. [It's] more heartfelt; part of that came from not worrying about exactly what kind of music we were supposed to be making and instead just working on songs that felt genuine and natural at the time.”

Jukebox the Ghost

With the release of infectious single, “The Great Unknown”, Jukebox the Ghost will keep on focusing on interpersonal lyricism while maintaining their quenchless pop.

Now, Jukebox the Ghost just announced the details of their highly anticipated fourth LP - Sound Of A Broken Heart. According to Ben (Vocals and Piano) the “Sound Of A Broken Heart” finds him belting and crooning like Paul McCartney at his melodramatic. The song is a radio-ready bubblegum juggernaut, equipped with beefy chords, lustrous, stuttering synths and a stellar chorus.
