Meet the NYC Indie Trio Jukebox The Ghost
Indie rock band from NYC trio Jukebox the Ghost shows off upbeat, soulful piano-rock tunes, dynamic lyrical sound and the trilling signature falsetto of Ben (Vocals and Piano) is going to be our eargasm. They are known for hyperactive stage energy and covers of any song with a hook. Over the years they’ve funnelled this energy into thoughtful pop.
Jukebox the Ghost Members:
·
Ben Thornewill – Vocals and
Piano
·
Tommy Siegel – Guitar
·
Jesse Kristin – Drums
Earlier this summer, they released their latest
single, “The Great Unknown” (which is one of my favourite indie song) from
their fourth record which will be released on October 21st.
Safe Travels
SafeTravels is their new album, according to Tommy
Siegel, “It felt like the music was
finally growing with us — Songs that relate to who we are as people right now,
not who we were when we were 19 or 20. [It's] more heartfelt; part of that came
from not worrying about exactly what kind of music we were supposed to be
making and instead just working on songs that felt genuine and natural at the
time.”

With the release of infectious single, “The Great Unknown”, Jukebox the Ghost will
keep on focusing on interpersonal lyricism while maintaining their quenchless
pop.
Now, Jukebox the Ghost just announced the details of
their highly anticipated fourth LP - Sound Of A Broken Heart. According to Ben
(Vocals and Piano) the “Sound Of A Broken
Heart” finds him belting and crooning like Paul McCartney at his melodramatic.
The song is a radio-ready bubblegum juggernaut, equipped with beefy chords, lustrous,
stuttering synths and a stellar chorus.
